According to operational data, in January 2026, the general fund received UAH 241.2 billion in the form of taxes, fees and other mandatory payments. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
“Despite security challenges and energy terror, the beginning of the budget year 2026 was marked by positive revenue dynamics, which was made possible thanks to the stability of Ukrainian business and financial support from international partners,” the report says.
According to the results of January, payment receipts from the State Tax Service amounted to UAH 78.6 billion, including:
UAH 34.2 billion - value added tax (UAH 58.5 billion collected, UAH 24.3 billion reimbursed); UAH 28.8 billion - personal income tax and military levy;
UAH 7.3 billion - excise tax;
UAH 4.1 billion - rent;
UAH 3.3 billion - corporate income tax.
Payments from the State Customs Service amounted to UAH 56.1 billion. Another important source of income for the general fund of the state budget in January of this year was the funds received by Ukraine in the form of international assistance (grants) in the amount of UAH 101.4 billion. In general, according to operational data, as of January 2026, UAH 296 billion in taxes, fees and other payments were received by the general and special funds of the state budget. In addition, UAH 41.4 billion (as of January 27) was received in the form of SSC to the pension and social insurance funds.
