Ukraine has delivered biomethane to the European Union for the first time via pipeline. The Ministry of Energy reported that a Ukrainian gas producer exported biomethane in February, marking an important step in the development of renewable energy and the country’s integration into the European energy space.This event opens up new prospects for the Ukrainian energy sector, contributing to the decarbonization of the economy and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. Ukraine is positioning itself as a reliable supplier of clean energy for Europe and is actively developing the direction of biomethane exports. The Ministry of Energy is paying special attention to this issue in the context of a new business model for the natural gas market and energy in general.
