In Ukraine, wheat prices continued to grow last week under the influence of active buyer demand and a shortage of grain supply on the market, especially of flour-milling quality. This was reported by APK-Inform.According to analysts, most flour mills did not have sufficient wheat in stock, so they were forced to work at less than full capacity or stop production for several days a week. Offers of grade 3 wheat and fodder came in sufficient quantities, but not all farmers were ready to give in to the price and offered grain at maximum prices. Prices for grade 2 and 3 wheat were mostly fixed within the range of 10,100-11,200 and 9,900-10,800 UAH/t CPT. Demand prices for fodder grain were mainly announced in the range of 9,300-10,500 UAH/t CPT.
