During 2023-2024, Iceland made four tranches of contributions, which were aimed at purchasing the necessary equipment for energy sector enterprises, in particular in Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. Thanks to this support, it was possible to restore energy supply in the regions.Iceland recently made another contribution to the Fund, which increased the total amount of its support to over 5.6 million euros. The Minister of Energy of Ukraine emphasized the importance of such assistance, as it contributes to stabilizing the country's energy system and providing citizens with electricity and heat.Such initiatives demonstrate the solidarity of international partners in supporting Ukraine's energy security.
