In terms of raw material supply, the most promising for the biogas industry are Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava and Cherkasy regions.According to the report, under favorable conditions, biomethane production in Ukraine can reach 1 billion cubic meters per year in 2030, 4.5 billion cubic meters per year in 2040 and 20 billion cubic meters per year in 2050. At the same time, at the end of the forecast period, half of the produced biomethane can be consumed domestically.To achieve such biomethane production indicators by 2050, the industry will need 40 billion euros of investment.
