Ukraine and France sign final agreement for supply of power equipment

Ukraine and France implement another project within the framework of the intergovernmental grant agreement: GE Vernova will supply mobile substations for ZaporizhzhiaoblenergoThe French company GE Vernova and the Ukrainian enterprise PJSC Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo have signed a contract for €13 million, which provides for the production and supply of two mobile substations for the needs of the energy system of Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.This is the nineteenth contract concluded within the framework of the intergovernmental grant agreement between Ukraine and France, signed on June 7, 2024 in Paris.

The total amount of non-refundable assistance under this agreement is €200 million, of which up to 50% can be directed to the purchase of Ukrainian goods and services, which creates an additional impetus for the development of the national economy.In addition, within the framework of this program, France has already transferred to Ukraine eight mobile X-ray systems worth a total of €1.8 million, which will significantly strengthen the capabilities of Ukrainian medicine.In total, 19 projects are being implemented within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement in key sectors: medicine, energy, water supply, transport, demining - areas that are critically important for the recovery of Ukraine.
