A decline in offers was recorded in the EU. In early May 2025, the scrap metal market showed mainly upward dynamics. Against the background of stabilization in the steel sector, growing demand in export directions and limited supply in some regions, scrap metal quotes began to recover. At the same time, in a number of countries the market remained under pressure from internal problems - overproduction, low margins or weak demand.
