Almost 40% of the cost of procurement on Prozorro with Ukraine Facility funds fell on hospital modernization

Analysis of procurement through Prozorro with Ukraine Facility funds showed that almost 40% of the volume of contracts (2.5 billion UAH) went to the modernization of medical infrastructureAs of the beginning of the year, partners provided resources worth 14.3 billion UAH, of which contracts for 6.8 billion UAH have already been concluded, mainly in the field of medicine and education.

The main projects financed include:

Reconstruction of the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Kyiv for 695 million UAH (renovation of building No. 1 and construction of a new multi-profile building);

Modernization of the Center for Endocrine Surgery for 600 million UAH, which is also partially financed by Ukraine Facility fundsAnother 30% of the funding is 2 billion UAH spent on the construction of shelters for schools and kindergartens in the Kharkiv region.

The Ukraine Facility is an EU macro-financial assistance program until 2027 worth €50 billion.
