In seven months of 2025, the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA) provided export support in the amount of UAH 8.9 billion. This is 84% more than in the same period last year, when the figure was UAH 4.8 billion.
In total, 54 companies have already used the services of the ECA. The agency provides two main support tools: insurance of export contracts against the risk of non-payment and insurance of loans that banks issue to exporters. Thanks to this, manufacturers get the opportunity to work with foreign partners even during wartime.As noted by Deputy Minister Andriy Telyupa, each insured hryvnia allows exporting goods for more than UAH 10, which contributes to the inflow of funds to Ukraine. This policy is fully consistent with the "Made in Ukraine" initiative.
The top three regional leaders in terms of export volumes include the following regions:
Lviv region — UAH 2.5 billion;
Khmelnytskyi — UAH 1.4 billion;
Ternopil — UAH 1.2 billion.
The main export destinations are Poland, Austria and Lithuania. The greatest support was received by exporters of wooden packaging (UAH 1.4 billion), furniture (UAH 1.3 billion), as well as oil and animal fats (UAH 1.09 billion).Let us recall that according to the results of 2024, Ukraine ranked third in terms of honey exports, losing to China and India.
