New business and agricultural sector support programs launched in Ukraine

From October 1 of this year, agricultural producers can apply for partial compensation for the cost of construction or reconstruction of livestock farms through the State Agrarian Register (DAR). Applications will be accepted until October 20 inclusive. The program provides for reimbursement of up to 25% of the costs of implementing projects related to the construction or reconstruction of complexes for keeping cattle, milking parlors and facilities for processing animal by-products.Compensation is provided only for those facilities whose construction or reconstruction began after February 24, 2022 and which were put into operation between January 1 and September 30, 2025. This allows for support to be directed specifically to new projects or those that were affected by hostilities, and to stimulate the restoration and development of Ukraine's agricultural sector.
