Anthropic Analytics: How Ukrainians Use Artificial Intelligence at Wor

The American company Anthropic has published detailed data on the global and Ukrainian use of its artificial intelligence Claude.ai. Although Claude is inferior in popularity to its competitors — Gemini from Google and ChatGPT from OpenAI, the data obtained demonstrate the structure of the use of artificial intelligence by professional areas.

For analysis, experts classified user queries according to the American O*NET standard.In the US, IT specialists became the leaders in terms of the volume of professional interaction with AI — almost a third of all queries. Teachers took second place (over 12%), while other areas lag far behind.In Ukraine, the picture is different. According to Anthropic: 64% of queries come from users in the field of information technology — from developing and testing programs to administering websites and databases; 11% — from representatives of creative professions (art, design, entertainment, sports, media); less than 10% are from education workers.At the same time, 37% of all requests remain unclassified, as they do not belong to any professional category.Analysts explain that in the early stages of development of countries with a low level of AI use, the main focus is on technical tasks, in particular, programming. In more mature ecosystems, the range of applications is expanding - from education and research to office and creative areas.In the USA, Claude is actively used for household tasks, job searches and medical consultations - much more often than the global average. In Brazil, artificial intelligence is widely used in translations and legal services, and is also integrated into the judicial system.

As noted, a number of work functions have already been partially automated by AI. For example, in the tourism sector, Claude performs most of the operations related to calculating costs, preparing personalized offers and communicating with customers, while booking and accepting payments are left to people.Experts emphasize that artificial intelligence is not currently replacing workers, but rather increasing their efficiency by allowing routine processes to be delegated to digital systems.
