Ukraine's agricultural exports in October 2025 increased to 4.5 million tons

In October 2025, Ukraine exported 4.5 million tons of agricultural products, which is 20.8% more than in September. The growth in exports was the result of several key factors. In particular, weather conditions affected the timing of harvest, so the main crops — soybeans, sunflowers and corn — were harvested longer, which allowed significant volumes to be accumulated by the beginning of October.

The abolition of the 10% export duty for soybean and rapeseed producers within the framework of the "soybean amendments" had an additional positive impact, as well as favorable market conditions for sunflower oil, supported by an increase in the supply of sunflower seeds.Structure of agricultural exports in October:

Grains — 2.7 million tons (wheat — 56%, corn — 35%, barley — 8%), an increase of 9%.

Oilseeds — 447.1 thousand tons (soybean — 53%, rapeseed — 45%, flax — 2%), an increase of 39%.Vegetable oils — 510.8 thousand tons (sunflower — 72%, rapeseed — 18%, soybean — 9%), an increase of 63%.

Oilcake after oil extraction — 467.2 thousand tons (sunflower — 73%, soybean — 27%), an increase of 66%.Other agricultural products — 386.1 thousand tons, an increase of 14%.

Thus, in October 2025, Ukraine demonstrated a stable recovery of export activity in the agricultural sector, which is due to high yields, improved conditions for exporters, and increased demand for oilseeds and their processed products on world markets.
