The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, together with NVIDIA, is launching a new initiative in the field of artificial intelligence. This was reported by the press service of the department.The project is aimed at developing a sovereign state AI ecosystem with its own infrastructure and highly qualified personnel. Involving NVIDIA's expertise should accelerate the launch of innovative and secure services for state administration and the defense sector.
The initiative provides for several key areas:
- creation of a national infrastructure based on NVIDIA solutions;
- development of education and training of specialists in the field of AI;
- joint research and innovation projects;
- support for the Ukrainian startup ecosystem.The first result of the cooperation will be the development of Diia AI LLM — a sovereign language model adapted to Ukrainian legislation, state services and citizens' requests. It will become the basis of all AI solutions in the Diya ecosystem, including the already available online AI assistant, the upcoming assistant in the mobile application, and internal products for the government.As part of the first stage, Ukraine will receive access to NVIDIA's specialized software stack, technical expertise to accelerate development and reduce costs, as well as consulting support, including working sessions and workshops with the participation of company experts.It was previously reported that a state online platform with artificial intelligence has been launched in Ukraine.
