The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to include the industrial park "Bukovyna 1" in the register of industrial (industrial) parks.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
"This is the first facility to receive official status in 2026. The implementation of the project will create about 250 new jobs directly in the park and will stimulate the development of related small businesses in the region," the report says.
The industrial park is located in the Kelmenets community of the Dnistrovsky district of the Chernivtsi region. The initiator of its creation was LLC "MM AGRO". The area of the site is 18.0141 hectares, and the term of operation is 49 years. On the territory of "Bukovyna 1" it is planned to develop production in the following areas:
Deep processing of agricultural products: production of oil, flour and cereal products, starches and finished animal feed.
Food industry: processing of fruits and vegetables, production of natural juices.
Energy efficiency: development of alternative energy to meet production needs.
The total investment in the project is estimated at UAH 698.3 million. It is emphasized that an important advantage of the park is its logistical location: proximity to the railway junction and the state border with the EU countries, which opens up wide opportunities for export-oriented companies.
