Ukraine continues to demonstrate growth in exports to the European Union. Last year, domestic goods exports to EU countries increased by 6% compared to the previous year, reaching almost $25 billion. In general, 60% of all Ukrainian exports go to European countries.
Such indicators were achieved thanks to simplified trade conditions, which became possible thanks to the so-called "economic visa-free regime". This allows Ukrainian products to enter the European market without duties, tariffs and quotas. The task on the agenda is to maintain these conditions for access to the EU market in 2024 and beyond.
The Ukrainian side continues to work on amendments to the Association Agreement with the EU, which will allow these simplifications to be fixed on a permanent basis.
