Expert named reasons for apple price drop in January

 In January, apple prices in Ukraine decreased slightly. The average cost of apples ranges from 27 to 30 hryvnias per kilogram, while a few weeks ago the prices were 33-34 hryvnias per kilogram. The decrease in the cost of fruit is explained by the decrease in demand after the New Year holidays. This trend is associated with a seasonal decline in demand for products after the holiday periods. Currently, the need for apple imports is low, since the domestic harvest is enough to meet demand.
