PJSC "Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company" (UDP) in 2025 demonstrates a stable improvement in financial and production indicators, the press service of the Ministry of Development and Trade reported. The enterprise has increased the efficiency of the river fleet: the number of caravans has increased by 3.8 times, average monthly transportation by 43%, and reverse loading of vessels has doubled. At the same time, negotiations are ongoing with charterers of the sea fleet regarding new routes and transportation conditions.
Thanks to cost optimization, operating losses have decreased by 1.5 times, net loss by 1.8 times, administrative expenses have almost halved, while average monthly cash receipts have increased by 46%. The Unified Project Portfolio of the State includes an investment project to create a training complex for training shipmasters, which is of strategic importance for the development of the enterprise. In addition, with the support of UNDP and the Government of Japan, an analysis of the anti-corruption system of the State Maritime Administration has been launched.
