The EU has allocated a €90 billion loan to Ukraine: what goals will it be used for

The European Parliament has allocated a €90 billion loan to Ukraine for 2026-2027.
An agreement has just been signed to provide Ukraine with a €90 billion support loan on behalf of the European Parliament," wrote Roberta Metsola.
According to the European official, the money will go to:
To strengthen the work of essential public services
To support Ukraine's strong defense capability
To protect our common security and freedom
Achieving a genuine and lasting peace
Consolidating Ukraine's future in Europe
