In the first quarter of 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet significantly expanded - 15.4 thousand new and 50.1 thousand used passenger cars were registered, Ukravtoprom reports.
Among new cars, crossovers and SUVs were in the greatest demand. The sales leader was Toyota RAV4 - in three months, Ukrainians purchased 1,159 such cars. Renault Duster was practically at the same level with a result of 1,150 units.
Hyundai Tucson also entered the top three - 636 registered cars. Next in the ranking were Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (603 cars) and Skoda Kodiaq, which was chosen by 429 buyers.
In the used car market, Ukrainians most often preferred models of European brands. The absolute leader was Volkswagen Golf - 2,448 registrations.
Volkswagen Tiguan is next with 2010 cars. Audi Q5 also entered the top three - 1886 units.
Skoda Octavia took fourth place (1726 cars), and Nissan Rogue closes the top five with 1716 registrations.
Thus, in 2026, Ukrainians continue to prefer practical crossovers among new cars, and time-tested European models are leading in the secondary market.
