The government has decided to include the new industrial park “Steel Kyivshchyna” (Kyiv region) in the Register of industrial (industrial) parks. It is said that the implementation of this project will allow creating approximately 400 new jobs in the processing industry sector.
“The concept of the industrial park “Steel Kyivshchyna” is designed for 49 years and covers an area of almost 12 hectares in the Bila Tserkva community of the Kyiv region. The key focus of the project is the development of a metalworking cluster with the involvement of about UAH 3.5 billion in investments,” the department informed.
The initiator of the creation of LLC “GRANDSTEEL” plans to attract financing from various sources — the initiator’s own funds, state incentives, as well as investments from future participants and other entities, the Ministry of Economy noted.
According to the department, enterprises in the following priority areas will be developed on the territory of the new park:
Metal processing and coating of metals;
Mechanical processing of metal products;
Forging, pressing, stamping, profiling; powder metallurgy;
Manufacture of building metal structures and products;
Manufacture of other finished metal products.
According to the Ministry of Economy, there are currently more than 114 facilities in the Register of Industrial Parks.
