On March 12, the State Agrarian Register (DAR) launched a grant program for agricultural enterprises aimed at developing aggregation models in the berry and vegetable growing sector. Within its framework, farmers can receive up to $150,000 for the development of infrastructure, product processing and expanding cooperation with small farmers. This is reported by Dengi.ua with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
It is noted that this program is implemented by the ministry and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with financial support from the European Union.
It is reported that agricultural producers from Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi regions can apply for participation in the program.
It is also noted that applications for participation in the program can be submitted from March 12 to April 17, 2026 through the State Agrarian Register. One of the conditions for participation is the availability of one's own investment contribution - from 30 to 60% of the project cost, depending on the category of the aggregator.
At the same time, as reported by the ministry, in addition to financial support, program participants will receive access to technical assistance. FAO will provide expert advice, organize trainings and recommendations on the development of sustainable business models and effective integration of small producers into value chains.
