“Ukrzaliznytsia” received new cars: what makes them different

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” continues to update its rolling stock — the company received another batch of modern passenger cars manufactured at the Kryukiv Carriage Building Plant.
Each of the new reserved seats is designed for 58 passengers and retains the familiar layout. At the same time, the developers have implemented a number of updates that increase comfort and safety during travel. In particular:more ergonomic sleeping shelves;modern LED lighting;comfortable seats even on the second tier;special places for babies: playpens and changing tables.

Special attention is paid to the needs of families with children and passengers with increased vulnerability.The supply of new cars is carried out within the framework of the state order for 2023. Of the planned 66 units, the company has already received 48. The new cars are gradually replacing the outdated rolling stock and are already being used on domestic routes.UZ emphasizes that the modernization of passenger cars is not only about comfort, but also about safety and adaptation to realities.
