In October 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with almost 10.5 thousand electric cars - this is 145% more than in the same period last year.
The majority of registered cars were passenger models - over 10.2 thousand units, of which 2.4 thousand were new and 7.8 thousand were used. In addition, Ukrainians registered 274 commercial electric cars, including 46 new ones. For comparison, in October 2024, out of 153 commercial BEVs, only 17 were new. Among new electric cars, the most popular were Volkswagen ID.Unyx, BYD Song Plus EV, BYD Leopard 3, Zeekr 7X and BYD Sea Lion 07. Most often among used electric cars, Ukrainians chose Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model 3, Nissan Leaf, Kia Niro EV and Renault Zoe.
In October, the share of “freshly imported” used electric vehicles was 57.3%, exceeding the total sales of new cars and domestic resales.
Experts note that such dynamics indicate a stable growth in demand for electric vehicles in Ukraine. The increase in the share of both new and imported used cars indicates a gradual renewal of the fleet and the transition of Ukrainian drivers to more environmentally friendly modes of transport.
