According to his assessment, the western regions have actually become the foundation of Ukraine's trade relations with the EU, providing business with stability even in periods of high uncertainty. It is the western corridors that currently provide the main export channel - agricultural, metallurgical, machine-building and other products. This has allowed Ukrainian companies to maintain their presence in European markets and strengthen their positions in a number of segments.Kovzel emphasizes that Western logistics has become an element of national resilience: regions play the role of a “logistical shield” that supports trade, provides access to critical imports, and helps maintain production. In his opinion, further strengthening the infrastructure of this area is a strategic investment in the economy that will contribute to Ukraine’s integration into the European market. It was previously reported that Ukraine and Norway extended the “transport visa-free regime,” and a project to attract women to logistics professions was launched — with the possibility of free training as forklift drivers and foreign trade managers.
