In the next two years, the pace of construction of retail real estate in Ukraine may return to the pre-war period. This opinion was expressed at the RAU 2025 summit in Kyiv by Maksym Gavryushin, chairman of the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers and operations director of the Budhouse Group development company. In 2026-2027, significantly more shopping centers may appear on the Ukrainian market - "at the level of 2009, when many shopping centers were built in Ukraine.
At the same time, these are mainly small and medium-sized projects, most of which are being implemented mainly in the safer western regions of the country. In addition, investment activity is increasing against the backdrop of the market revival.
