The Ukrainian government has adopted a resolution on updating approaches to the use of open data (open-data). From now on, the most important data will be collected in an updated single list. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Citizens, businesses and public organizations will be able to find the necessary information faster - for analytics, creating services or controlling budget expenditures.
“Open data is the basis of a transparent and convenient state. Therefore, we have made working with them simpler and clearer for everyone,” the department emphasized. State bodies will receive clear recommendations on how to upload information to the Single Open Data Portal. And an annual assessment will check the relevance and completeness of the published information. Open-data is state information that is freely available, but without personal or confidential data. Thus, thanks to integrations, Ukrainians check cars before buying, find business partners in databases and the nearest pharmacy on the map. Let us recall that in December last year, Ukraine entered the top 3 countries of the European Open Data Maturity rating for the third year in a row. Even despite the full-scale war, our country remains a leader in the development of open data.
