Imports for the reporting period amounted to $45.9 billion (+16.9%). According to the department, exports of crop products in January-July of this year amounted to $5.86 billion (-23.1%), which is 25.1% of the total export volume.
Grain crops for this period brought $4.3 billion (-26.5%) in foreign exchange earnings. At the same time, Ukraine supplied animal products (including live animals) to foreign markets in the amount of $1.13 billion (+22.5%). This segment occupies only 4.9% of Ukraine's export goods. Supplies of fats and oils to foreign markets in January-July amounted to $3.77 billion (+8.1%). The share of these products in exports occupies 16.2%.
