The press service of the YASNO company cites data that the latest calculations of the number of charging stations in Ukraine were carried out back in 2023, while there is no current data for this year. According to that study, the total number of charging stations in Ukraine was 5 thousand, of which high-speed ones - 20-25%.
"The largest number of charging stations is located in Kyiv and the region, as well as in Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa and Kharkiv regions. This is due to the higher population density, a larger number of electric cars and developed infrastructure, which includes shopping malls, gas stations and business centers where these stations are located," the company reported. In particular, according to the Institute for Automotive Market Research, the total volume of the electric vehicle segment (including cars, trucks and buses) as of August 2025 amounted to a record 11.5 thousand, which is 12.5% more than in July of this year and 22.5% more than last year's figures in August 2024.
